NMI facilities and equipment are only to be used by students currently enrolled in 4000-level and above NMIX courses.
Depending on course enrollment, NMI students will be given an access code for the Classroom/Lab (401) and the Production Suite (401-C). These codes should never be shared with other students.
Doors to NMI facilities should remain closed at ALL times. Do not prop doors open, even during class. Students should use the keypads to enter the Classroom/Lab and Production Suite.
Students are responsible for cleaning up after themselves in all of the NMI facilities including the hallway. Trash should be placed in the proper receptacles (there are recycling bins located at the end of the hallway near the elevator exit).
No food or drink (except for water in a sealed container) allowed in lab.
Classroom/Lab and Production Suite are to be used for NMI-related work only.
Be considerate and pick up your workspace before you leave.
Throw away trash, log of computer and push in your chair.
No equipment is allowed to be taken out of the Classroom/Lab or Production Suite.
Open lab times are posted on the main door to 401. Unless you are enrolled in the class, do not enter the lab during a scheduled class time (even if there are open computers).
Equipment is only for the use of students currently enrolled in 4000-level and above NMIX courses.
Equipment is to be used for NMI-related work only. Students must have permission from an NMI instructor or Dr. Shamp before checking out NMI equipment.
Students must fill out and sign an Equipment Checkout form prior to removing equipment from NMI facilities.
Equipment must be returned on time and in the condition that it was checked out in.
Do not share equipment with other students.
Students may only use NMI web storage space for official class projects.
All student projects MUST be stored on NMI servers.
Students should not store information on the NMI servers for other individuals, organizations, or companies.
Students should not direct web traffic from another site to an NMI website.
