Taylor Cole Miller
Dr. Taylor Cole Miller is joint faculty of NMI and Entertainment & Media Studies in Grady. Over there, he teaches courses in television studies, history, and documentary production. His research interests include television industry and production cultures, syndication and distribution, as well as issues of gender and sexuality within various digital media forms. Prior to teaching in Grady College, Dr. Miller taught courses in television criticism, critical internet studies, and new media production at the University of Wisconsin as well as Spanish phonetics at UT Austin and also worked professionally in television broadcasting, photojournalism, and magazine design. He debuted his short film Letters to the Open Mind at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts’ LGBT Film Festival. Basically, like many of you reading this bio, he didn’t know what he wanted to do for a living.
Taylor has been with the NMI since August 2017.
